About the role#
The In-Home Behavioral Services Clinical Internship provides an opportunity to support youth and families within a home-based program. Interns work to identify and reduce challenging behaviors by utilizing behavioral fundamentals and trauma-informed care. This position focuses on improving child functioning through individualized behavior plans developed to meet specific family needs.
What you'll do#
- Support clients in achieving their personal goals.
- Provide trauma-informed care to youth presenting with challenging behaviors.
- Utilize home and community-based behavioral interventions to empower caregivers.
- Collaborate with Behavioral Monitors to coach and model interventions.
- Create and implement individualized behavior plans.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master's in Social Work degree program.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Comfort with technology and the ability to learn various electronic systems.
- Daily access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
- An active driver's license.
