About the role#
Jostens is hiring an Events Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Minneapolis, Minnesota. You will work with the Event Management team to support customer service and event logistics. The role requires domestic travel for company conferences, including the JRGC conference in June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Create and manage event registration websites after training.
- Handle attendee communications, including pre-event emails and reminders.
- Prepare registration materials, badges, and attendee packets.
- Assist with on-site event execution, registration staffing, and attendee support.
- Compile pre and post-event reports, surveys, and evaluations.
- Conduct event data audits to ensure reporting integrity and registration accuracy.
- Research venues, suppliers, and vendors.
- Participate in team planning meetings.
- Manage the Event Inbox and process registration changes.
- Coordinate shipping logistics, session materials, mailings, and event app implementation.
- Audit and order office supplies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited 4-year undergraduate program with 3 years completed, or a recent graduate.
- Major in Marketing, Project Management, or a similar field.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Exceptional skills in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well individually and within a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Previous office work experience is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Minneapolis, MN (On-site).
- Term: 10-12 weeks, May 2027 through August 2027.
- Pay: $20.00 per hour.
- Note: Extended hours may occasionally be required.
