About the role#
The Product Management Co-op supports teams focused on capital equipment and digital technologies that improve clinical workflows and customer experience for Impella heart pump technology. You will work at the intersection of technology, customer needs, and business strategy, collaborating with development teams to inform product decisions.
What you'll do#
- Build an understanding of customer profiles, target markets, technology trends, and competitive dynamics.
- Organize inputs from customer interactions and stakeholders to support Voice of the Customer (VOC) execution.
- Maintain clear documentation practices to ensure insights are useful for future planning.
- Prepare summaries and recommendations that connect market insights to product discussions.
- Draft and manage product documentation to support planning.
- Evaluate competitive technologies and summarize their implications for product differentiation.
- Synthesize insights to help drive future product roadmap development and strategic prioritization.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor, Master, or MBA program in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Human Factors, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn diverse inputs into structured outputs.
- Ability to communicate clearly in written and presentation formats.
- Strong organization and time management skills to handle multiple tasks with competing priorities.
- Experience or ability to interface directly with external customers regarding clinical or product topics.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment visa sponsorship.
