About the role#
This Co-Op position offers the opportunity to work on various engineering assignments using a broad range of principles. You will assist with the planning, development, and design of materials, equipment, and processes. You will also review project progress, evaluate results across multiple disciplines, and partner with engineers and technicians to ensure project completion.
What you'll do#
- Work on diverse engineering assignments.
- Assist with the planning and design of equipment, materials, and processes.
- Review and evaluate the results of multiple projects.
- Collaborate with engineering and technician teams to reach project goals.
- Facilitate and conduct engineering tasks.
What you'll need#
- Completion of your freshman year at an accredited university.
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for mechanical, chemical, or industrial engineering.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week).
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.
- Ability to provide your own transportation.
- Demonstrated leadership or participation in campus and community activities is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Anasco, Puerto Rico.
- Modality: On-site (5 days per week).
- Terms: Winter, Summer, and Fall 2027 (January through December 2027).
- Employment type: Full-time, paid position.
