About the role#
We are looking for an Operational Excellence Engineering Co-Op to join our team in Danvers. You will work on-site to help implement improvement projects and support our global OpEx organization. This role involves acting as a change agent to influence site culture and processes.
What you'll do#
- Support the implementation of OpEx initiatives and improvement projects.
- Apply lean methodologies including 5S, standard work, visual management, kanban, and pareto analysis.
- Define, measure, analyze, improve, and control various initiatives.
- Provide training and awareness for OpEx tools and methodologies.
- Coach teams and individuals on the use of these tools.
- Influence leaders and peers to improve site culture and perspectives.
- Connect with the global OpEx organization to benchmark and adopt proven practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Supply Chain, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- A willingness to spend significant time on the operations floor to learn manufacturing processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to excel in a team environment while constructively challenging the status quo.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
- Interest in leading workshops and Kaizen events with cross-functional teams.
