About the role#
As an Oncology Global Medical Safety Intern, you will join a global team focused on the research and development of oncologic therapeutics. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to clinical strategies and the operational implementation of complex compound programs across Phase I to III clinical oncology studies. You will work within a global matrixed environment, collaborating with various functional disciplines and receiving mentorship from experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Engage in routine safety surveillance for clinical trial and post-marketed data.
- Assist with the planning and preparation for Periodic Safety Review and Signal Management Team meetings through data review.
- Contribute to efforts supporting upcoming global submissions.
- Participate in department, clinical, and cross-functional team meetings.
- Gain an understanding of clinical research, drug development, Good Clinical Practices, and International Conference of Harmony guidelines.
- Attend the Bench to Bedside Lecture Series.
- Take on leadership opportunities for specific internship program activities or group projects.
- Prepare and present an abstract or poster at the organization-wide annual research symposium.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university or college program, with no graduation occurring before, during, or after the internship.
- Graduate students pursuing a master’s degree in clinical sciences, clinical research, nursing, or similar, or a Physician’s Assistant, PharmD, or PhD degree.
- Undergraduate students who have completed at least six semesters in clinical, pharmacy, premed, physician’s assistant, or nursing programs.
- Legally authorized to work in the US without the need for current or future sponsorship.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to balance multiple project deliverables.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Word, as well as Slack.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to present to project and senior leadership teams.
- Proven leadership or participation in campus or service programs.

- Locations: Horsham, Pennsylvania and Spring House, Pennsylvania.
- Modality: Hybrid (report on-site three times per week).
- Term: Summer 2027 (approximately 12 weeks).
- Employment: Full-time.
