About the role#
The Innovative Health organization works to improve participant health and wellbeing by reinventing the clinical trial experience. This co-op role supports both the Discovery and Delivery functions within the team. You will gain hands-on experience at the intersection of clinical research, strategy, and project execution. You will work alongside Innovation Managers and Discovery Leads to identify business needs, evaluate emerging technologies, and support demonstration projects aimed at improving patient and site experiences.
What you'll do#
- Research emerging trends, technologies, and innovative approaches relevant to clinical development.
- Support market landscaping, competitive intelligence, and solution scouting.
- Identify and document business challenges, opportunities, and unmet needs.
- Collect and analyze information from interviews, workshops, and surveys to generate insights.
- Maintain databases, trackers, and repositories of innovative solutions and partners.
- Assist with innovation demonstration projects, including project planning, timeline management, and milestone tracking.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to capture decisions and outcomes.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and business cases for leadership.
- Collaborate with teams across clinical development, data science, digital technology, procurement, legal, and finance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent degree program.
- Field of study in life sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, biomedical sciences, public health, business, engineering, data science, or healthcare innovation.
- Strong academic performance.
- Demonstrated interest in healthcare, clinical research, innovation, or technology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and other productivity tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a global cross-functional team.
Location & details#
- Locations: Titusville, New Jersey; Raritan, New Jersey; Malvern, Pennsylvania; Spring House, Pennsylvania.
- Modality: This position is on-site and remote.
- Employment: Full-time co-op with a rolling term.
- Compensation: $23.50 to $52.50 per hour, based on program year, discipline, degree, and experience.
- Note: This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
