About the role#
The EHS Analyst Co-Op supports the Environmental, Health, and Safety team through data analysis, reporting, and safety initiatives. You will help monitor key metrics, support incident prevention, and ensure compliance with company safety standards. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Manatí, Puerto Rico, spanning from January to December 2027.
What you'll do#
- Collect, clean, and analyze EHS data to ensure accuracy.
- Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations to track metrics like incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Identify trends to support proactive safety measures and risk reduction.
- Work with EHS, Operations, and Management teams to provide data-driven insights.
- Support risk assessment and incident prevention projects.
- Assist with audits, inspections, and compliance activities.
- Review, update, and maintain Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) to ensure they align with company standards.
- Manage JSA documentation and link it to the appropriate training curriculum.
- Identify areas needing new JSAs and support their implementation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts for workplace health and safety.
What you'll need#
- Completion of your undergraduate freshman year at an accredited university.
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Industrial, Electrical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering, Physics, or Natural Sciences.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Power BI for reporting and data visualization.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship.
