About the role#
The EHS Analyst Co-Op supports the Environmental, Health & Safety team through data analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement projects. You will monitor key safety metrics, assist with incident prevention, and ensure compliance with company standards. This position is full-time at 40 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Collect, clean, and analyze EHS data to ensure accuracy.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track metrics like incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Spot trends and patterns to support proactive safety measures.
- Work with EHS, Operations, and Management teams to share data-driven insights.
- Support risk assessment projects and incident prevention efforts.
- Assist with audits, inspections, and compliance activities.
- Review, update, and maintain Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) to keep them aligned with company standards.
- Ensure JSAs are documented correctly and linked to relevant training programs.
- Identify areas that need new JSAs and help create them.
What you'll need#
- Completion of your freshman year at an accredited university.
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Industrial, Electrical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering, Physics, or Natural Sciences.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Knowledge of Power BI for reporting and data visualization.
- Experience analyzing data and creating dashboards.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship.

- Location: San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: January to December 2027 (Winter, Summer, and Fall terms).
- This is a paid position.
