About the role#
DePuy Synthes is seeking 10 Supply Chain Engineering Co-Ops for the Winter 2027 term. This program places students across five departments in our Raynham facility, including Operations, End-to-End Projects, Manufacturing Systems, and the BEX team. You will support engineering networks, optimize manufacturing processes, and assist with equipment validations or new product introductions. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring a 40-hour work week from January to May 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist in process, project, and quality activities across the manufacturing network.
- Participate in the day-to-day functions of a medical device manufacturing facility.
- Develop business documents, such as validation protocols, engineering studies, and work instructions.
- Support senior engineers on Business Continuity and Cost Improvement projects.
- Create and analyze data related to manufacturing processes to recommend improvements.
What you'll need#
- Completion of undergraduate freshman year at an accredited university.
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
- Enrollment in a 4-year engineering curriculum.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Understanding of common engineering analysis tools and reporting mechanisms.
- Knowledge of Power BI and Python.
- Strong verbal and communication skills.
- Ability to commute 5 days per week to the facility.
- Previous experience in GMP manufacturing, medical devices, FDA-related activities, or project management is recommended, as is at least one prior co-op experience.
