You will join a team working to replace current in vivo models with benchtop ex vivo and in vitro alternatives. These new models will simulate human tissue and blood to provide more controlled testing environments, helping to refine software and algorithms for surgical cameras.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop benchtop models that simulate human tissue and blood.
- Plan and run experiments to validate the performance and imaging capabilities of these models.
- Automate testing workflows to improve efficiency and results.
- Collaborate with imaging scientists and software engineers on project development.
- Document experimental procedures and findings.
- Present insights to the R&D team.
- Explore new materials and methods to improve model realism.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a master’s or PhD program at an accredited university.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week.
