About the role#
The JMP DevOps team manages the infrastructure for JMP product software and internal development tools. This role involves understanding the software development life cycle, including release cycles for features, maintenance, and security. You will work with team members to document existing processes and identify improvements for future releases.
What you'll do#
- Learn about the JMP development process and the infrastructure supporting release cycles.
- Collect requirements and complete tooling projects in collaboration with the team.
- Research new technologies and tools.
- Review and improve existing process and infrastructure documentation.
- Back up team members on routine tasks.
- Contribute to other JMP DevOps projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student in an accredited Computer Science program.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Ability to develop novel solutions to technical problems.
- Genuine interest in working with a DevOps infrastructure team.
- Experience with data analysis software.
- Coding or scripting skills in a variety of languages.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
