About the role#
This summer internship offers an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of program management within a life sciences portfolio. You will gain hands-on experience supporting integrated program operations while developing technical skills in data visualization and reporting. The internship includes a capstone project where you will analyze program performance or optimize existing processes and present your findings to leadership.
What you'll do#
- Maintain and update integrated program dashboards to track milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
- Prepare weekly and monthly status reports for stakeholders and leadership.
- Standardize and organize project documentation, including decision logs and risk registers.
- Assist in creating templates and process guides to improve team efficiency.
- Coordinate logistics for program review meetings and steering committees.
- Capture action items and track follow-ups to ensure timely completion.
- Develop proficiency in PMO tools and data visualization techniques.
- Complete and present a capstone project focused on program analytics or process improvement.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program with 2-3 years of coursework completed.
- Pursuing a degree in business, program management, engineering, life sciences, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with an ability to identify trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with dashboard or data visualization tools is preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Must have permanent US work authorization. This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
