About the role#
JLL is seeking an Operations Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This role provides hands-on experience in facilities operations, analytics, and business intelligence. You will work alongside leadership to support projects, research, and data-driven initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
What you'll do#
- Conduct online research to gather information for operational analysis and decision-making.
- Develop an understanding of facility equipment, including HVAC, boilers, MEP, and electrical systems.
- Draft requests for information to support operational goals.
- Input data and perform detailed analyses to identify trends and patterns.
- Process and organize research and data in a structured manner.
- Communicate project milestones and findings to team members and senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documentation.
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies in facilities management.
- Maintain high accuracy while working under tight deadlines.
- Support ad-hoc duties as required.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in research, analytics, or reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Working knowledge of online search engines and analytical tools like SmartSheet, Tableau, and JLL databases.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Permanent US work authorization. This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
