About the role#
JEO Consulting Group offers a paid internship program for students interested in civil engineering. You will join one of our technical departments, such as Transportation, Water Resources, or Construction. This is a full-time, on-site role that provides hands-on experience through project work and collaboration with our team.
What you'll do#
- Participate in client projects from start to finish as part of an intern team.
- Assist with data collection and research tasks.
- Aid in engineering design processes.
- Visit project job sites to observe work in progress.
- Review and write technical reports.
- Attend client and public meetings.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- You can work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering firm.
- You have the capacity to work well within an intern project team.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position with rolling terms.
- We have offices in Ankeny, IA; Lincoln, Omaha, Grand Island, Wahoo, and Hastings, NE; and Wichita, Topeka, Lawrence, and Overland Park, KS.
