About the role#

Jensen Hughes is seeking an engineering intern to join the team in Concord, California. This is a paid, full-time position with a rolling start date. You will gain exposure to professional engineering procedures while working under the guidance of experienced staff.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with engineers to support Probabilistic Risk Analysis development and application.
• Perform a variety of routine and moderately complex technical tasks.
• Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to complete specific portions of broader assignments.
• Adjust and correlate data while identifying discrepancies in results.
• Follow operational steps and processes under close supervision.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or a related engineering field.
• Completion of at least two years of undergraduate schooling.
• Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills with a self-starter mindset.
• Effective written and oral communication skills for reports, correspondence, and presentations.
• A passion for advancing safety, security, and resilience.
