About the role#
DAVIS is hiring an intern for the Summer 2027 term. This full-time position offers experience in either an office or on-site construction environment. You will work directly with an assigned project team to support daily operations and project management tasks.
What you'll do#
- Practice and champion safety procedures on all projects.
- Process submittals, RFI's, and transmittals.
- Write scopes of work and prepare change orders.
- Compile O&M manuals and review shop and contract drawings.
- Attend owner and subcontractor meetings.
- Organize and execute punch lists.
- Take progress photos.
- Perform responsibilities with excellence in service, integrity, and relationship building.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
- Superior communication skills, including verbal, written, and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong time management skills to organize, assess, and prioritize multiple tasks and demands.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds.
