About the role#
This internship provides experience in transportation management. You will work with our team to support logistics services and gain insight into daily operations. This is a paid position scheduled for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily operational tasks like freight planning and asset utilization.
- Support safety management and Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance.
- Help with driver payroll, supervision, and maintenance coordination.
- Participate in logistics analysis and Customer Value Delivery.
- Manage profit-and-loss tasks and learn about industry trends related to driver retention.
- Complete account-specific duties and other assigned responsibilities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited institution.
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week during the school semester.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
- Junior or Senior standing is preferred.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and directives.
