About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in transportation and logistics. You will work under close supervision to support customers and learn the daily operations of a major transport company. This position is based in Minneapolis and is scheduled for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Learn basic transportation management principles.
- Assist with daily tasks like freight planning, asset utilization, and logistics analysis.
- Help with safety management, DOT compliance, and driver payroll.
- Support driver supervision and maintenance coordination.
- Participate in profit-and-loss management and Customer Value Delivery.
- Gain insight into industry trends and driver retention initiatives.
- Complete account-specific duties and other assigned tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week during the school semester.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Capability to handle shifting priorities and adapt to changing directives.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
- Junior or Senior academic standing is preferred.

- Compensation: This is a paid position with a pay range of $15 to $24.50 per hour.
