About the role#
This is a part-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Danville, Arkansas. You will work under supervision to support customers with transportation and logistics services. This role provides an introduction to transportation management principles and company operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily operational tasks including freight planning and asset utilization.
- Support core business functions such as safety management, DOT compliance, and driver payroll.
- Engage in logistics analysis, driver supervision, and maintenance coordination.
- Participate in profit-and-loss management and Customer Value Delivery.
- Learn about current industry trends and company initiatives regarding driver retention.
- Handle account-specific duties and other tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Availability to work 20 to 25 hours per week during the school semester.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work flexible hours.
- Junior or Senior academic standing is preferred.
