About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the summer of 2027. You will work on-site in Orchard Park, New York, from May through August. The role focuses on supporting strategic sourcing and supply chain projects within the aerospace and industrial manufacturing sector.
What you'll do#
- Support vendor-facing projects, including supplier quality performance and annual certifications.
- Create a risk assessment matrix to optimize purchasing objectives.
- Identify improvements for current purchase order management.
- Perform vendor rationalization tasks.
- Support SQM metrics.
- Follow company safety policies, participate in training, and assist in job safety analyses.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a senior or graduate student in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Finance.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Capacity to communicate clearly with suppliers.
- Initiative to understand the needs and priorities of different functional groups.
- Must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR regulations.

- Term: May to August 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Pay: $22 to $28 per hour.
