About the role#
This is a full-time Quality Engineering internship based in Valencia, California. The position runs from May to August 2027 and requires 40 hours of work per week on-site. The role is paid, with a compensation range of $28.00 to $33.00 per hour.
What you'll do#
- Assist Quality Engineers with daily engineering activities.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes for customer returns and fabrication issues.
- Develop and document work instructions for fabrication and assembly tasks.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in workplace inspections, safety training, and the development of job safety analyses.
- Complete other related tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering program at the BS, MS, or PhD level.
- Academic standing in good standing.
- Practical knowledge of statistical analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience with CAD software and Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to meet ITAR requirements, as this position involves access to restricted information. You must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR regulations.
