About the role#
IPS Corporation offers a co-op program designed to provide students with practical experience in product development within a manufacturing setting. You will work within our engineering ecosystem to gain insight into how codes and compliance influence design workflows. You will also learn about data integrity, prototyping, and BOM management while receiving mentorship from experienced engineers.
What you'll do#
- Perform 3D modeling and reverse engineering tasks.
- Complete standard documentation for engineering projects.
- Own at least one end-to-end project during your rotation.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers and cross-functional team members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering degree program or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with CAD software, specifically SolidWorks or CREO.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet project timelines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Collierville, Tennessee.
- You must be able to report to the facility on-site.
- This is a full-time, paid co-op position with a rolling term.
