About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Lubbock, Texas. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will join our National Travel team to support industrial construction projects across the United States. You will work on-site for the duration of the 15-week program, traveling to various project locations in the lower 48 states to gain hands-on experience alongside our field crews.
What you'll do#
- Help manage industrial construction projects by partnering with Project Managers, Superintendents, customers, and field teams.
- Learn to handle project schedules, budgets, materials, RFIs, submittals, and logistics.
- Build professional relationships with clients and teammates.
- Develop your leadership skills through direct mentorship and hands-on site work.
- Travel to project sites to experience the reality of industrial construction work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Construction Management, Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial), Business, Project Management, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and an interest in working closely with others.
- An organized and motivated approach to problem-solving.
- Curiosity, a coachable mindset, and a desire to learn.
- Enthusiasm for travel and working on projects across the country.
