About the role#
As an Assistant Project Manager Intern, you will join our team for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on industrial construction projects across the United States. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Omaha, Nebraska. We provide mentorship and training to help you develop your leadership skills while working alongside our experienced field crews and project managers.
What you'll do#
- Help manage industrial construction projects by working with project managers, superintendents, and customers.
- Learn to handle project schedules, budgets, materials, RFI's, submittals, and logistics.
- Build professional relationships with teammates and clients.
- Travel to various project sites to gain hands-on experience.
- Develop your leadership abilities through daily project involvement.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and a preference for collaborative work.
- An organized and motivated mindset focused on solving problems.
- A willingness to travel and work on projects across the country.
- A curious and coachable attitude with a desire to learn.
