About the role#
As an Assistant Project Manager Intern, you will join our team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship that focuses on real-world industrial construction. You will work alongside experienced mentors and field crews to support projects across the United States. We do not require prior knowledge of electrical construction or automation, as we provide the training and coaching you need to succeed.
What you'll do#
- Help manage industrial construction projects throughout the country.
- Partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, customers, and field teams to keep work moving forward.
- Learn to manage project schedules, budgets, materials, RFI's, submittals, and logistics.
- Build relationships with customers and teammates while developing your leadership skills.
- Travel to various project sites to gain hands-on experience.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and an interest in working with people.
- An organized and motivated approach to problem-solving.
- A willingness to travel and experience projects across the country.
- A curious, coachable mindset and a desire to learn.
