Fall 2026 Comprehensive Refugee Service Intern

About the role#

The Comprehensive Refugee Service (CRS) internship supports the delivery of services to refugees, asylum seekers, and parolees. This role focuses on ensuring program compliance and providing direct support to clients as they navigate resettlement. Interns work closely with caseworkers to foster client self-sufficiency and problem-solving skills.

What you'll do#

• Manage documentation including scanning and filing records.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate case notes.
• Assist clients in developing independent problem-solving and self-sufficiency skills.
• Accompany caseworkers to client appointments and assist with service delivery.
• Participate in team meetings and staff development programs.
• Collaborate with internal staff and external community partners.

What you'll need#

• Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and writing abilities.
• Creativity and the initiative to manage projects to completion.
• A strong desire to support others in a multi-cultural environment.
• Preferred background in Human Resources, Sociology, International Relations, or Psychology.

• Location: Tallahassee, Florida.
• Modality: Hybrid.
• Term: Fall 2026 (beginning the week of September 8, 2026).
• Commitment: Minimum of 15 hours per week for at least three months.
• Compensation: This is an unpaid internship.
