About the role#
This full-time, paid internship offers an educational experience for students pursuing a graduate degree. You will work directly with leadership teams on strategic and operational projects, partner with an executive mentor, and gain insight into hospital administration. The program spans 10 to 12 weeks during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Complete a sponsored project and create a process improvement initiative.
- Participate in hospital operations and attend leadership, team, and department meetings.
- Work with team members to identify solutions and meet project goals.
- Job shadow various roles to understand department functions.
- Provide operational and clerical support as needed.
- Participate in development workshops.
What you'll need#
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of at least one year of a post-graduate degree program, preferably in Business, Public Health, or Health Administration.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and skills in critical thinking, strategic planning, analysis, and systems thinking.
- Proficiency with business computer applications, including spreadsheets, word processing, presentations, and databases.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- This is an on-site, full-time role (40 hours per week).
- The internship is available at multiple locations including Burley, ID; Logan, UT; Ogden, UT; Sandy, UT; Murray, UT; St. George, UT; Provo, UT; Park City, UT; Delta, UT; and Fillmore, UT.
