About the role#
This internship focuses on 2D transistor development within our semiconductor manufacturing division. You will join our teams in Hillsboro to work on process integration, module development, and equipment configuration. This is a full-time, paid position that follows a hybrid work model.
What you'll do#
- Develop module processes and integration flows for manufacturing.
- Analyze defect data and conduct experiments to support yield improvement.
- Perform electrical characterization of transistors to refine process conditions.
- Work with engineering teams to troubleshoot process flow issues and improve metrology strategies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in high-volume manufacturing environments.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Materials Science.
- Research experience related to semiconductor materials.
- Knowledge of semiconductor device physics and process flows.
- Experience with transistor characterization, device testing, and data analysis.
- Proficiency with DLTS and measuring devices on a cryo-prober.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- A strong record of safety in lab environments and a willingness to work in clean room settings.
