About the role#
The AI Group Power Delivery Pathfinding team is looking for a PhD student to research and develop power delivery technologies. You will work on high input voltage and high-power density DC-DC converters designed to power SOCs. The team focuses on creating efficient, silicon-integrated voltage regulators to support AI SOC products.
What you'll do#
- Research and explore new circuit architectures.
- Design complex mixed signal circuits for advanced silicon processes and PCBs.
- Run simulations and perform analysis to assess circuit performance.
- Develop high power density and high efficiency silicon integrated voltage regulators.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a PhD program for Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Background in low power analog or digital mixed signal circuit design.
- Expertise in power electronics, DC-DC voltage converters, and power control design.
- At least 2 years of experience in high voltage DC-DC converter design, with a preference for 48V experience.
- Experience taking power delivery circuits from initial design to layout and silicon prototype.
- Familiarity with post-silicon verification, including testing and characterization.

- Work modality: On-site.
- Term: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
