About the role#
This is a 10-week paid summer internship within the IT Epic Clinical Applications team. You will work alongside senior leaders to gain experience in the business, technological, and operational activities of the health system. The program includes project work, leadership development, shadowing, and networking. You will report to an assigned leader who provides ongoing training and guidance.
What you'll do#
- Develop your skills and subject matter knowledge.
- Coordinate committees and meetings.
- Assist department leadership with projects and daily functions.
- Prepare and edit documents, presentations, and communications.
- Support the overall goals of the work area and the organization.
- Perform other tasks as requested.
What you'll need#
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and operate standard office machines.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- A current Driver's License and a driving record acceptable to INTEGRIS and its insurance carrier, as this role requires the operation of a personal vehicle.
- Undergraduate or graduate degree related to the functional area is preferred.
- Prior experience is preferred.
