About the role#
Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is hiring a Radiology Extern 2. This is a part-time, PRN position located in Fairfax, Virginia. You will gain hands-on experience while working alongside mentors in a clinical setting.
What you'll do#
- Learn and apply new clinical skills while showing consistent progress in your daily tasks.
- Communicate clearly with your mentors to build independence and improve your decision-making.
- Meet the performance expectations set by your supervisors.
- Follow department policies to ensure all medical examinations are optimized for accurate interpretation.
- Assist the team by applying core radiography principles in a clinical environment.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- You must be in your second year of the program and in good standing.
- A Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
