About the role#
Innovative Systems, Inc. is hiring a Software Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based at our headquarters in Pittsburgh. You will work within our Software Development group to solve real-world problems and contribute to our software products.
What you'll do#
- Program applications and components based on your skills and experience.
- Research new technologies, development tools, and technical problems.
- Work independently and collaboratively to implement assigned projects.
- Perform other related duties as requested.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 2 years of undergraduate work by the start of the internship.
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Knowledge in software and web development, design, and implementation.
- Strong analytic, problem-solving, and research skills.
- Experience with C, SQL.NET, XML, HTML, JavaScript, or CSS is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (typically 2 days in-office and 3 days remote per week).
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
