About the role#
Inmar Intelligence offers a Summer 2027 internship program for students interested in data, analytics, and AI. This program provides hands-on experience by pairing you with a cross-functional team project and specific responsibilities managed by your department lead. You will work on real business challenges alongside experienced professionals to build technical skills and gain exposure to the full lifecycle of data.
What you'll do#
- Analyze business, customer, and operational data to find trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to help teams understand complex information.
- Clean, organize, and validate data from multiple sources.
- Support the development and testing of data pipelines and processing workflows.
- Contribute to the design of scalable analytical solutions and predictive models.
- Use AI and emerging technologies to assist with research, coding, and process improvement.
- Collaborate across Data, Engineering, Product, and Business Intelligence teams.
- Document findings and help improve data governance and accessibility.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
- Analytical and critical-thinking skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with others.
- Proficiency with productivity tools like Excel or Google Sheets.
- Coursework or projects in data analytics, machine learning, databases, or big data.
- Experience or familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or Java.
- Exposure to visualization tools like Tableau and cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with data technologies like BigQuery, Spark, or dbt and machine learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Curiosity about AI and a willingness to learn new tools.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site at our headquarters in Winston Salem, North Carolina.
- This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
