About the role#
As a Global Supply Chain Data Science Intern, you will join our Data Science and Analytics team for the summer of 2027. You will support the Global Supply Chain and Operations team by performing data analysis and driving initiatives that improve our performance. Your work will focus on enabling better decision-making for leaders across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, EHSS, and Procurement.
What you'll do#
- Create and optimize machine learning forecasts.
- Perform anomaly detection in reporting.
- Analyze metric KPIs to identify potential drivers.
- Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Excel and Power BI.
- Support the team in building predictive models using statistical or machine learning techniques.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights.
- Present findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Business, Operations, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Undergraduate students must have completed at least two years of coursework.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, or R.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Solid teamwork skills, creative problem-solving, and a desire to create results.
- Ability to meet deadlines and ask questions.
- Reliable transportation to get to and from the facility.
