About the role#
As a Risk Analytics Analyst co-op, you will work within the Government Markets unit. This role focuses on Risk Adjustment accuracy for Medicare Advantage and ACA populations. You will handle data preparation, write code, create visualizations, and communicate insights to support business decisions.
What you'll do#
- Develop analytical solutions to answer business questions regarding Risk Adjustment.
- Analyze trends and assess program performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate data into actionable insights.
- Manage your own goal-oriented analyses with independence and flexibility.
What you'll need#
- Current Junior or Senior status, or a recent graduate within one year of the program start date.
- Minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Majors in Public Health, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Experience with statistical or programming software like SAS, Python, R, or SQL.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills and a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Experience with Tableau is preferred.
- Access to an Android or iOS device compatible with the Microsoft Authenticator app.
