About the role#
As a Corporate Communications Analyst co-op, you will work with the External Communications team to shape and share the company story. You will assist with executive communications, public health awareness campaigns, and brand protection efforts. This role provides exposure to projects across the division, including associate and provider communications.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate on team projects and contribute to executive communications initiatives.
- Draft media alerts, press releases, and media pitches while building media lists.
- Conduct media monitoring and research to support team objectives.
- Write social media posts and contribute to social media planning.
- Assist with writing and editing tasks for executive briefings and publications.
- Provide hands-on support for photo shoots, video shoots, and special event coordination.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a Junior or Senior undergraduate student, or a recent graduate within one year of the program start date.
- Minimum GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter while maintaining professionalism within a team.
- Solid organizational and time management skills.
- Basic understanding of public relations activities and terminology.
- Digital or social media experience is a plus.
- An Android or iOS device compatible with the Microsoft Authenticator app.
- Majors in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related fields.
