About the role#
As an intern on the Site Reliability Engineering team, you will work alongside engineers to keep our products reliable, deployable, and maintainable. You will join our regular workflow and contribute to real projects that help software run at scale. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering and operations, focusing on how applications move from code to production.
What you'll do#
- Build software and services that support the deployment, operation, and maintenance of our products.
- Improve how software is released, monitored, and maintained.
- Connect software development with cloud services and production systems.
- Apply programming and problem-solving skills to infrastructure challenges.
- Investigate issues and improve system reliability over time.
- Take ownership of well-scoped work, communicate your progress, and ask questions.
What you'll need#
- A foundation in software engineering and experience with at least one programming language.
- Interest in learning new systems and technologies, including Go.
- Curiosity about the software lifecycle, including building, deploying, and operating applications.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience beyond coursework, such as a side project, hackathon, or previous internship.
