Production Assistant Intern

About the role#

This internship provides an opportunity to gain experience in production within the Santa Monica headquarters. You will work closely with the Visual Development and Story Production teams to support daily priorities across various films and animation projects.

What you'll do#

• Organize and process artwork for shows, shorts, and ancillary animation pieces in coordination with Supervisors.
• Upload and catalog assets into the Digital Asset Management system.
• Perform database cleanup projects.
• Provide production support for the Visual Development, Story, and Script teams, as well as remote artists.
• Assist with the daily priorities of the crew across all active productions.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a student returning to college or university in the fall.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week for the 8-week duration of the internship.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Zoom, and Microsoft Office, with a specific focus on Excel and Word.
• Working knowledge of Photoshop.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex instructions with diligence.
• Preferred majors include Digital Media Production, Film, Animation, Communications, Graphic Design, Art, or Civil Engineering.
• Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Location & details#

• Location: Santa Monica, California.
• Work Modality: On-site. The role requires working from the Santa Monica studio 4 days per week (Monday through Thursday) with 1 day of remote work (Friday).
• Term: Summer 2026.
• Compensation: This is a paid position at $17.28 per hour.
