About the role#
Ice Miller LLP is hiring summer associates for our New York office. You will work within our private equity, M&A, and leveraged finance practices. This is a full-time, paid position for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with our attorneys to improve your research, writing, and presentation skills.
- Gain experience by staffing on active transactions.
- Receive regular feedback, guidance, and mentoring throughout the program.
- Participate in training focused on professional and substantive legal skills.
- Engage in client contact opportunities.
- Attend team building activities and social events.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in the JD class of 2028 at an accredited law school.
- An undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Permanent authorization to work in the United States.
- Prior work experience, such as legal, military, or service industry roles.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Ability to manage your time and projects diligently.
- Experience working with people from diverse backgrounds.
