About the role#

Ice Miller LLP is seeking summer associates for the New York office to join the private equity, M&A, and leveraged finance practices. This full-time, paid position offers a weekly compensation of $4,134.

What you'll do#

Develop direct working relationships with attorneys to enhance research, writing, and presentation skills.
Gain experience by staffing on active transactions.
Receive guidance, mentoring, and regular feedback throughout the program.
Participate in in-depth training focused on professional and substantive legal skills.
Engage in opportunities for client contact, social events, and team building activities.

What you'll need#

Enrollment in the JD class of 2028 at an accredited law school.
An undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
Permanent authorization to work in the United States.
Prior work experience, including legal, military, or service industry roles.
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage time and projects diligently.
Experience working with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
