Ice Miller LLP is seeking summer associates for the New York office to join the private equity, M&A, and leveraged finance practices. This full-time, paid position offers a weekly compensation of $4,134.
What you'll do#
- Develop direct working relationships with attorneys to enhance research, writing, and presentation skills.
- Gain experience by staffing on active transactions.
- Receive guidance, mentoring, and regular feedback throughout the program.
- Participate in in-depth training focused on professional and substantive legal skills.
- Engage in opportunities for client contact, social events, and team building activities.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in the JD class of 2028 at an accredited law school.
- An undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Permanent authorization to work in the United States.
- Prior work experience, including legal, military, or service industry roles.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage time and projects diligently.
- Experience working with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
