IT Intern- Business Intelligence

About the role#

This internship focuses on the maintenance and evolution of the Business Intelligence ecosystem at ICCU, including the data warehouse, SharePoint, and PowerBI reporting. You will work alongside Data Engineers to implement best practices and gain practical experience in a professional corporate environment.

What you'll do#

• Assist with various IT projects to understand how technology is implemented and used within the organization.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to support Business Intelligence functions and provide issue resolution.
• Develop IT skills related to troubleshooting and professional communication by assisting end users.
• Test system updates and bug fixes, document results, and communicate findings to management.
• Audit various systems and user configurations, documenting results and working with the team to address findings.
• Participate in team meetings and projects while refining your planning and organizational skills.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Cybersecurity, or a related IT field.
• Anticipated graduation within two years.
• A success-driven mindset with a respectable GPA.
• Ability to dedicate 15-20 hours per week.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of member records and comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act.
• Eligibility for membership at ICCU.
