About the role#
As a Virtual Design & Construction Intern, you will work with our electrical contracting team to support design coordination and BIM processes. You will work under the supervision of professional staff to assist with virtual design to prefabrication workflows and contribute to the development of electrical construction projects.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate electrical designs using Autodesk Revit.
- Support Virtual Design to Prefabrication workflows and handoffs.
- Perform clash detection and resolution using Autodesk Navisworks and Revit.
- Review drawing scope revisions.
- Document project changes, including blueprints and finding updates.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, or certification in a construction or engineering field, or Computer-Aided Design and Design Technology.
- Relevant coursework or experience in Revit, Navisworks, BIM, or CAD.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- An interest in the electrical contracting industry.
