Intern: Design

About the role#

HUSH is seeking a Design Intern for the Summer 2026 term. This full-time, paid position is based in our Brooklyn studio. You will work closely with designers, strategists, and technologists to contribute to the design process across various media, including print, mobile, web, and physical spaces. Interns are paired with a mentor to help guide professional development and project progress throughout the 3-month duration.

What you'll do#

• Research and collect design ideas to create references and guidelines for the team.
• Assist in the development of creative and strategic briefs.
• Participate in workshop sessions to solve complex design challenges.
• Collaborate with internal teams across multiple project stages, from concepting to production.
• Generate 2D and 3D sketches to test and iterate on design concepts.

What you'll need#

• Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to articulate your design process and vision clearly.
• Strong time-management and communication skills with the ability to take direction well.
• Experience in animation, 3D, and coding is highly preferred.
• A portfolio demonstrating rigor in design, attention to detail, and experience across multiple media.
• Must be a post-graduate (not currently enrolled in school).
