About the role#
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour is looking for a Digital Marketing Intern to join our media team for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, hands-on internship focused on sports marketing and digital storytelling. You will work in a hybrid capacity to help us grow our social media presence and support various departments with their objectives.
What you'll do#
- Create engaging content for social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X.
- Produce and edit photography and short-form video content.
- Brainstorm new social media ideas and stay current with platform trends and viral challenges.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns for invitationals and products.
- Work toward a goal of growing our total social media reach by 40%.
- Assist other departments with their operational objectives.
- Attend and support tournament events, which requires weekend work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Marketing, Communications, Photography, or a related field.
- Ability to receive at least one college credit for this onsite experience.
- Good standing with your college or university.
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Capcut, Final Cut Pro, or Canva.
- Prior experience with golf or sports photography.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- A creative and innovative approach to content creation.
- Ability to commute to or secure housing in the Winter Garden, Florida area.
