About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship based in our Dallas, Texas office for the Summer 2027 term. You will work within our IT department, focusing on strategic project management and financial oversight. You will gain direct experience with how technology investments are planned, tracked, and funded while working alongside senior project managers.
What you'll do#
- Manage a small IT project from start to finish with guidance from a senior project manager.
- Maintain project schedules, status reports, and RAID logs.
- Assist with IT budget tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Support invoice and purchase tracking against established budgets.
- Help create and maintain executive dashboards and reports.
- Bring fresh perspectives to our existing project management and financial processes.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in MIS, Information Systems, IT, or Business with a focus on finance or IT.
- A minimum 3.0 grade point average.
- Experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of AI tools like Claude and Microsoft Copilot.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities at the same time.
- A self-starter mindset with a strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to provide academic transcripts.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Smartsheet, or project management methodologies is helpful.
