About the role#
The Commercial Intern program provides a comprehensive look at sales, marketing, and customer engagement within the packaging industry. This project-focused role allows you to work alongside managers on specific initiatives that drive the business forward. You will gain hands-on experience while learning about our products and sales processes.
What you'll do#
- Acclimate to Huhtamaki products and internal processes.
- Interact directly with customers.
- Partner with cross-functional business leaders to assist on strategic projects.
- Identify areas to improve and streamline current processes.
- Engage in specialized training and development to learn about the industry.
- Learn about sales, product management, and customer service functions.
What you'll need#
- Currently working towards a Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline, such as Business Administration or Marketing.
- Competence with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in sales or marketing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Location & details#
- Location: De Soto, Kansas.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, typically 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Term: Rolling.
- This is a paid internship.
