About the role#
This is a 10 to 12-week summer internship program designed to provide students with corporate experience and preparation for a career in the industry. You will work on-site in Manchester, New Hampshire, during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
Your primary focus involves evaluating and validating connector solutions for medium-voltage applications. You will perform market research, conduct engineering analysis, and support laboratory testing. Key responsibilities include:
- Determining conductor-to-connector recommendations.
- Supporting mechanical and electrical testing and analyzing the results.
- Documenting your findings and recommendations in a formal technical report.
- Managing multiple projects with overlapping tasks while working independently.
- Assisting with process improvement and supporting co-workers.
- Applying your classroom knowledge to value-added projects.
- Developing technical skills and building professional relationships.
- Delivering a final presentation to the local management team.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university for the duration of the program (May-August 2027).
- Pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Familiarity with CAD Inventor.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products is preferred.
- Familiarity with relevant software and systems.

- Compensation: Paid position, with hourly rates ranging from $22.50 to $29.00 based on academic standing and expected graduation date.
