    About the role#

    This internship provides an opportunity to gain corporate experience while working on product development for Aclara AMI devices. You will work within a team environment to support the delivery of firmware solutions from initial development through the production launch. At the end of the program, you will give a presentation to the local management team regarding your work.

    What you'll do#

    • Develop and enhance automated test solutions for Aclara AMI devices.
    • Create unit and functional test scripts using Python.
    • Use Azure DevOps and Git source control to support test development.
    • Apply classroom knowledge to projects and assist with process improvements.
    • Collaborate with colleagues in a professional setting.

    What you'll need#

    • Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university through the summer of 2027.
    • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
    • Proficiency in Python, C, or C++ through coursework or hands-on experience.
    • A minimum 3.0 GPA.
    • Strong communication skills to work effectively in a team.

    • Location: St. Louis, Missouri.
    • Term: Summer 2027 (May-August).
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Status: Full-time and paid internship.
