About the role#
This internship is a 10 to 12 week program designed to provide corporate experience and prepare students for a career at Hubbell. You will focus on New Product Development projects by applying your engineering skills to design, testing, and development efforts. You will also contribute to upcoming initiatives as they move through the development pipeline.
What you'll do#
- Apply classroom knowledge to on-the-job tasks.
- Work on comprehensive, value-added projects.
- Collaborate with colleagues in a professional environment.
- Develop technical skills specific to your major.
- Build relationships and learn about different parts of the business.
- Assist with process improvement.
- Manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently.
- Provide support and assistance to co-workers.
- Deliver a presentation to the local management team at the end of the program.
- Gain knowledge of the industry as it pertains to the Hubbell business location.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the internship period (May-August 2027).
- Pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree related to the internship.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Familiarity with relevant software and systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products is preferred.

- Compensation: Paid ($22.50 to $29.00 per hour depending on academic standing and graduation date).
