About the role#
This internship program provides students with corporate experience and preparation for a career at Hubbell. You will focus on New Product Development by applying engineering principles to project execution, design, and testing. The program runs for 10 to 12 weeks during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Apply classroom knowledge to real-world engineering tasks.
- Contribute to New Product Development initiatives.
- Manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently.
- Assist with process improvement and project execution.
- Work in teams with colleagues in a professional environment.
- Develop technical skills relevant to your major.
- Present your work to the local management team at the end of the program.
- Gain practical experience in planning and organizational skills.
- Provide support to co-workers as needed.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university through August 2027.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Familiarity with relevant software and systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products is preferred.

- Compensation: $22.50 to $29.00 per hour, based on academic standing and expected graduation date.
